Abstract
Purpose: This study performed to evaluate clinical results of arthroscopic posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction using an allograft anterior tibialis tendon in acute PCL injuries.

Materials and Methods: Forty-two Patients who underwent PCL reconstruction between March 2008 and October 2012 enrolled this study. We performed transtibial single bundle reconstruction using the allograft anterior tibialis tendon in all cases. We checked posterior drawer stress radiography, range of motion, the Lysholm score, the International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) score and the Tegner score to evaluate the results.

Results: At the final follow up the Lysholm score was improved from 49.1 to 91.5(p<0.001). Preoperative IKDC grades were group B in 15, group C in 14, and group D in 13, postoperative IKDC grades were group A in 24, and group B in 18(p<0.001). The Tegner score was 6.5 and showed no differernce compare to pre-injury state 6.8, Posterior displacement was improved from 13.3 mm to 3.35 mm (p<0.001). The average of maxium flexion and extension angle was 135.3? ? and 1.45.45 ?.

Conclusion: We could obtain satisfactory clinical results after arthroscopic posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction using an allograft anterior tibialis tendon in acute PCL injuries.
